FAQ

How does Value Boxes work?+

Open a box and swipe (or tap) through the cards actually in it — right to hold a card, left to put it back. When you're done, check your held stack, and check out to buy everything you held.

Do I need an account?+

Not to browse — swiping left and looking through a box is open to anyone. Holding a card (swiping right) needs a free account, though, since a hold has to be tied to someone so it's actually reserved for you and not just anyone who happens to load the same box next.

How long is a card held for me?+

As long as you're actively building your stack, plus a little buffer: holding a card gives your whole stack 12 hours, and it keeps that window as long as you keep adding to it. Go 30 minutes without holding anything new and the stack releases back into the box for someone else to find. Once you've paid for a card (checking out, or adding it to a held stack), it's yours regardless — this timer is only about the free hold before you've bought anything. Holding cards repeatedly without buying shortens that window on future holds.

What if two people swipe the same card?+

Only the first to complete checkout gets it — once a card is held by someone, it's removed from the box for everyone else until that hold expires or they buy it.

How does pricing work?+

Depends on the box. Some boxes are one flat price per card, shown right on the box. “Price as marked” boxes price each card individually — you'll see each card's price as you swipe through it.

What if my card arrives damaged, or the wrong one shows up?+

We'll make it right — see our Refund Policy for exactly what qualifies and how to reach us about it.

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?+

Shipping options and rates are shown at checkout before you pay, so you'll always know the total cost up front.

Can I sell my own cards on Value Boxes?+

Seller accounts are currently set up by us directly rather than self-serve signup — reach out via Contact if you're interested.
